在抽象的现代社会,个体身份的确定需要基于他/她同某个集体成员在特定属性上的同样性,其重要政治意义在于构成具有同一身份的人的集体,形成以身份为构成原则的政治活动。异质性哲学有助于以民族主义这一身份政治典范为例,分析现代身份政治的深层意识根源、机理及限度。打破身份政治的困境必须抛弃对某种共同属性的固执,认真对待个体身上丰富的异质性,阿伦特的公民政治能够向个体的丰富性敞开,不失为一条可行的路径。

  • In abstractive modern society,an individual can identify himself/herself with a particular community through the sameness of a specific attribute.The significant political consequences of this procedure are the construction of various communities with divergent identities,and the forma tion of numerous political movements in accordance with divergent identity principles.Taking nation alism as an exemplary case of identity politics,and by the means of heterogeneous philosophy,this paper discussed the deep mentality origin,mechanism and limitations of identity politics.In order to dispel the dilemma of identity politics,we should abandon the persistence on the common attri bute among different individuals,and treat the heterogeneity of an individual seriously.Hannah Ar endt’s politics of citizenship can take an unrestricted position to the richness of individuals’attri butes,thus it appears to be a more desirable and practicable strategy for the human being.
