商爱玲教授所著《设官为民和君臣道合:唐代官论研究》一书,以唐代官论为中心,以小见大,把形而上的思想史与形而下的制度史相结合,从思想延伸到思想影响下的实践,构建了一个包括中国古代官论的终极依据、基础理论、思维特征、本质属性、政治实践等多个重大问题在内的官论思想研究框架,结构紧凑、逻辑严密、内涵丰富,富有创新性。总括而言,该书具有四个方面的研究特色:一是基于政治本体论,探究了官论的终极解释和理论基础;二是注重思想与社会的互动,将官论思想与政治实践研究融汇为一体;三是立足历史学,援引政治学阐释中国政治史;四是资料取材范围广泛,拓展了唐代官论研究的视野。

  • The Book Establishing Officialdom for the People and Integrating Monarchs and Ministers: A Study of Official Theory in the Tang Dynasty written by Shang Ailing, focused on the official theory of the Tang Dynasty and by seeing the big from the small,combines the metaphysical history of thought with the physical history of system, extends from thought to practice, and constructs a research framework of ancient Chinese official theory involving several major issues such as the ultimate basis, basic theory, thinking characteristics, essential attributes and political practice, rigorous in logic, rich in connotation and innovative. To sum up, themonograph has four research features: First, it is based on political ontology to explore the ultimate interpretation and theoretical basis of official theory; Second, it focuses on the interaction between ideologyand society, integrating official theory with political practice; Third, on the basis of history, it introduces political science to explain Chinese political history; Fourth, it has a wide range of materials, which expands the horizon of the Tang Dynasty official theory research.
